We all live for the thrill of the ride. Well, maybe not all of us, but most of us. Life is a ride, but that's a bit abstract, which is why we need to get our kicks and thrills elsewhere. For some people that means jumping out of an airplane or climbing the Himalayas, for others it might be following their favourite band on tour or driving really fast.

Some cheap thrills are:

1. Fireworks:

Fireworks are a class of explosive pyrotechnic devices used for aesthetic and entertainment purposes. When lit, fireworks shoot magical bright colours, illuminating the night's sky. They are beautiful and exciting. Of course, get too close to them and they can be very dangerous.

2. Roller coasters:

Roller coasters are amusement rides found in amusement parks. The rides tend to be built on a track which runs on a circuit. Motorcycles generate thrills by moving very quickly and ascending to great heights and then dropping great depths at great speeds. They also loop, twist and turn for additional excitement.

3. Standing front row at a rock concert:

For avid music lovers, there are few things more thrilling than standing front row at their favourite band's concert. They can see the hearts of band members beating through their chests, they can feel their sweat, they can taste their passion. Seeing someone you really admire, perform your favourite songs live is a pretty unreal experience.

4. Tobogganing:

When winter comes we tend to stay indoors. Afraid of the cold we keep warm in front of fireplaces, covered in blankets. For some people though, winter is the best season of the year. It is the time they get to ski or snowboard or skate. And while those activities are mostly enjoyed by people who work at them, tobogganing can be enjoyed by everyone. The best toboggans are the plastic discs that make even the heaviest people fly. Initially lifting your feet can be a bit intimidating, but once you start going it can be quite fun.

5. Balloon ride:

Hot air balloon rides are not only a wonderful opportunity to look out on the world and enjoy a nice view, but are also thrilling. Passengers stand comfortably in their baskets while they float hundreds of feet into the sky. Might be a bit scary for those with a fear of heights, but might also be a great way to conquer it.

There you have it, 5 great ways to enjoy a bit of a thrill and spice up life.
