There's nothing quite like sunshine. It motivates us to get up, go out, and move forward. But sometimes too much sunshine can be painful and we have to find solutions to block it out or dilute its intensity in some way.

This might include:

1. Black-out shades for your bedroom.

Have you ever stayed in a bedroom that had black-out shades on the windows? Well I can tell you it really feels like it's night time long after the sun has come up. This might sound depressing to some and relieving to others. Perhaps you're someone who suffers from lack of sleep. You work long hours and even on the weekends are never really able to catch up. Black-out shades are sometimes all you need to catch up on much needed rest. Once your head hits the pillow you are sure to fall into a deep, uninterrupted slumber until your body naturally wakes you up.

2. Shade for an outdoor space.

In addition to the sun waking us up when all we want to do is lie in, it also can burn us and effect our bodies in harmful ways. Vitamin D is good but there are many effects of the sun which aren't and can cause harmful diseases for the human body. As a result people who are spending time outdoors need to protect themselves. Sun block is one way, staying under some sort of shade is another.


3. Sunglasses.

Sometimes all you need to keep the sun out of your eyes is a pair of glasses. Sunglasses allow people to be out in the sun with harming or causing discomfort to their eyes. It is recommended for people to wear sunglasses to protect the eyes from ultraviolet radiation and blue light which can cause serious eye problems. Wearing sunglasses can be much more comfortable when playing sports. Too much sunlight can also cause a headache to be much more painful. Sunglasses are also a fashionable accessory and usually included in the fashion lines of designers.

4. Blindfolds.

A cross between black out shades and sunglasses, blindfolds are a great way to get the extra rest you need, especially when in inconvenient places like airplanes or cars. They are also a good solution for people who need total darkness when they sleep.

So you see, there are times when sunlight is something we need to hide from. In those times it's best to- find some shade, find some darkness, blindfold your eyes and get the rest or protection you need to stay cool.
